The short version: Veke does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. Everything you create — posters, your child's name, any photos you add, optional emergency details, and your preferences — is stored only on your device. Veke has no servers, no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Nothing leaves your iPhone unless you choose to share or print a poster.
What Veke stores on your device
- Posters you create (titles, steps, symbols, colours), saved locally on the device.
- Your child's name, if you enter one during setup — used only to personalise the posters shown on your device.
- Photos you add as poster symbols — stored locally, inside the app's own storage. They are never uploaded.
- Emergency poster details, if you create one (e.g. a home address or contact phone numbers) — stored locally on the device.
- Preferences (language, theme, remembered skin-tone choices), stored locally.
All of the above stays on your device. Veke has no backend and cannot see any of it.
What Veke does NOT do
- No data is sent to us or to any third party — Veke makes no network connections.
- No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, no profiling.
- No account, no sign-in, no cloud sync.
- We do not use your data for any purpose, because we never receive it.
When you share or print a poster
When you choose to print (AirPrint), AirDrop, message, email, or export a PDF of a poster, the poster's contents — which may include a photo, your child's name, or a home address you added — are sent to the destination you select. That destination (a printer, another person, another app) is outside Veke's control and is governed by that service's own handling. Veke only ever shares what you explicitly ask it to share, to the destination you pick.
Children's privacy
Veke is a tool for parents and caregivers. It is designed so that no personal data — including any information about a child — is ever collected or transmitted. Because Veke operates entirely on-device with no network activity, no data about a child leaves the device unless a parent deliberately shares or prints a poster. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
You are always in control:
- Delete an individual poster or photo inside the app to remove it.
- Delete the Veke app to remove all of its data from your device.
Because nothing is stored off-device, deleting it locally deletes it completely.
Your rights (GDPR / EEA, UK, and similar)
Veke does not collect or process personal data on any server, so there is no data held by us to access, correct, export, or erase — your data lives only on your device, under your control. If you have any questions about how Veke handles data, contact us below.
